Uses
- Sealing areas around ostomy bags or post op bags
Positives
- Great at minimising leaks when a patient’s skin is undulating and seal is required for a post op bag or ostomy bag
- Can help wounds heal by applying it on top of the wound and then placing the bag on top of it
Limitations
- It does not adhere well to wet areas. You will need to use a powder beforehand to aid in the adhesion
- If you apply too much it will not come off with the bag once removed. It is very hard to get off.
