Step 1

Setup sterile field

Prepare a sterile field and arrange all sterile products using aseptic technique.

Dressing Pack (Small),Sterile Water,Silver Sulfadiazine Cream (Flamazine),Jelonet (10cm x 10cm),Melolin 10 x 10

Step 2

Clean the wound

Gently cleanse the wound, ensuring fragile skin is not agitated by avoiding scrubbing and using light dabbing or sponging techniques.

Gauze squares,Sterile Water

Step 3

Apply Flamzine

Apply cream by dispensing it directly onto the area and gently distributing it across the surface to minimise trauma and pain, avoiding applicator use where possible.
