Apply oil-based emollients to support skin integrity while monitoring for progression or spread of cellulitis.

Cellulitis that is in the acute phase

 Swipe 

Mark the cellulitis with a permanent marker

Mark the extent of erythema with a permanent marker to enable monitoring of cellulitis progression.

Gently clean

Prepare a sterile field and arrange all sterile products using aseptic technique.

Broken areas of skin

lace a doubled layer of Inadine over areas of skin breakdown and adjacent intact skin to provide a topical antimicrobial effect.

Wrap the leg (part 1)

Wrap the leg with Jelonet roll. Sheet application may be used as an alternative, although it is more time-consuming.

Apply Zetuvit

Wrap the affected area with a zetuvit to absorb any exudate

Wrap the leg (part 2)

Cover the affected area with Zetuvit for exudate management.
